Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?
A: No, we do not hold properties. Everyone is treated the same and must follow the same procedure.

Q: What if the owner decides to sell?
A: We will always call you if the owner decides to sell, or is thinking about selling.

Q: Do I pay the first month’s rent and the last month’s rent with my security deposit?
A: No, the security deposit is paid at the lease signing by itself in a cashier’s check or money order. When you pick up keys on move in day you would bring your prorated rent.

Q: How old do you have to be to apply?
A: Everyone over the age of 18 yr who will be living at the property must turn in their application.

Q: Is the deposit refundable?
A: Yes, all security deposits are refundable. At move out you will get a checklist that will help you get back your security deposit.

Q: Do you take cosigners?
A: No, we do not take cosigners.

Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
A: Before you can apply you must go view the property, if you are still interested everyone over the age of 18 must turn in an application. Applications can be found at our office or under our prospective tenants tab.

Q: How do I pay rent?
A: Rent can be paid through your tenant portal, cashier’s check, money order as well as CVS and 7/11.

Q: I want to get a pet. What do I do?
A: If your property is pet friendly, talk to your property manager for approval before going onto backuspm.petscreening.com

Q: My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: If you are needing/ wanting to move out you must fill out a 30 day notice, found under tenant resources.

Q: Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
A: Tenants are responsible for submitting maintenance requests and following up if they do not hear from a vendor within 72 hours. The cost for repair would depend if it is normal wear and tare or if something was damaged by the tenants.
